The Kid On The Train Sketch

Here’s a little sketch from last year. The train had stopped at a station (Aarau if I remember right), so I had a minute to draw this kid who was in a train going in the opposite direction. He was all up in green military dress and was sitting, knapsack on his knees, in the space in front of the doors instead of in the compartment with seats. He didn’t look too happy about going off and “serving” the country and it makes you wonder since there are now ways of avoiding it if you really want to.

Perhaps family reasons, his dad would disinherit if… or simply to tired to resist destiny… We’ll never know, will we?
