Crawfish at the BAG!
1 November 2009, 12:30
So here’s a little poster for our upcoming concert at the BAG in Geneva, it will change us from bars and cafes and I would lie if I said I wasn’t stage fright filled about playing to a roomful (hopefully… come one come all…) of real blues lovers…

If I Had Possession

Just stumbled on this video of the Mojo Workers, great to see another blues washboard player in this country! (The few there are usually play dixieland jazz) And to discover the other band members as well of course, sorry – just being focused on my own area of interest….

Top 100 most powerful people in the artworld...
10 November 2009, 21:01
For many reasons I’ve been ignoring the art side of this blog for some time but am beginning to feel a heavy art presence at the door and will probably be forced to let it in one of these days. The awkwardness of forgetting his name but remembering his voice…
One of these stories was Shirley Jackson's: The Lottery and one of the points was how the author actually tells you the story’s ending in the second paragraph but you don’t actually realize it until the ending… And perhaps that you can only read it once with the innocence of not knowing that end…

Hello Holiday Season, Lets Welcome All The Joy & Happiness!
29 November 2009, 18:39
Since I was “putting up” some holiday decorations over at Rattlebrained Designs I figured I could use the same background here to give this blog a little push in the direction of joy and mindlessness. Unfortunately I don’t feel that filled with happiness as it seems that the (put many injurious & rude words here) Swiss right wing party has yet again marked a point in passing their (put many injurious & rude words here again) referendum today. Apparently nearly 60% of the country’s imbecilic voters have accepted a ban on the construction of minarets…

Opening on December 5th, come one come all! What’s nice with the opening is wine & cheese, but you have to deserve it by listening through the speeches!
