The other day I suddenly realized that the basics of CSS weren’t nearly as opaque as they used to be so I’ve been trying to improve the readability of this blog. Oh, not in any major way, don’t have time for a overhaul, but little things here and there.
It seems to be getting there, hope you agree…

Next Thursday (May 14th) I’ll be joining Blaise in Guévaux for a jam session that he is organizing for the Vully Blues Club. It will takes place in a wine cellar there: the Caveau du Vully.

Well the first t-shirt ordered from Zazzle came this week and I must admit I’m a bit disappointed with it. It has my washboard playing crawfish blues band design on it which I chose because I had recently ordered the same from CP and you can’t have too many band t-shirts laying around….
They (Z) don’t seem to be able to get the sharp edge that CP does on dark t-shirts, it’s not as if the under coat of white bleeds out…

I know, skulls are such a cliché… and kitschy too! It’s probably why I like them, as far as I’m concerned to this day and age they are what gold leaf was to Art Nouveau and in any case I’ve always liked stuff that shines…
So please bear with me this site’s little changes, I was getting tired of the solid color look.
Could this be due to too much loud music Thursday evening? Don’t know…

Sorry to not have much to write about at the moment, getting my new store organized is tacking a lot of time and with the art world economics in shambles for lower class artists like myself and the fact that certain Crawfish Blues Band members seem to have better things to do…

Although raising the prices actually did bring in more money, it didn’t bring in more sales. And although there is no way to know if not raising them would have achieved as many sales I’ve ended up deciding that the ethics of it all remained questionable…
